About Glasgow

Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and is renowned for its culture, style and the friendliness of its people. Glasgow enjoys a year-round buzz with an arts scene that produces cutting-edge productions and attracts high-profile exhibitions that led to the city being crowned European City of Culture in 1990. More recently Glasgow hosted the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

As a UNESCO City of Music (one of just ten in the world), Glasgow is also a hotbed of musical creativity across all genres. The recently built SSE Hydro hosts weekly national and international music mega stars as well as global entertainment and sporting events – located next to the Conference venue.
